About the museum
Ravensmoor Museum holds around fourteen thousand objects covering natural history, scientific instruments, local geology and the industrial history of the dale.
We are an independent charity. Roughly a third of our income comes from ticketed exhibitions, a third from grants, and the rest from people putting money in the box by the door.
